Would you ever reconcile with your ex unless you are married again?

I would rather chew on broken glass than spend a single second in my ex's company.

In my case, No I would NOT. We tried and didn't work. I guess it all depends on many factors: how long someone has been together, how much did one get hurt etc.... the TRUST is gone and told by therapists it is almost impossible to get that trust back depending on how much one got hurt.
Every situation is different!
People change and situation change. What I don't understand is how do couples who have been together for years and are in their 70-80's suddenly separate after spending years enduring and knowing the person so well?

Not if he was the last man alive! He's shown his real personality -- I just didn't heed the warning signs (which I didn't recognize back then).

I don't have any regrets, I enjoyed my marriage, but the actions and words of my ex have made me so that I would never trust her, and shown me that she does not have what it takes to be in a relationship. In short she does not deserve me. The relationship is dead and could never be revived, ever.

Hmmm, does it count if she had a lobotomy or gets aminesia?

My ex still looks fairly good. I just wouldn't be able to tolerate how she treats me.

Too much has happened.
Too many feelings are hurt.
Too many times was trust broken.

I wouldn't.

Hell to the no.

Matter of fact, right now I'm using metal things from my recycling bin to build a time machine so I can go back and beat the crap out of myself for ever marrying him in the first place.
