Last Christmas was my first Christmas without any of my kids. We had our Christmas just the same as we would have, but on a day that wasn't the 25th. I treated the 24th-28th like it was just a regular 4 day stretch when the kids are with their dad.

I ended up playing super mario world all the way through, watching movies, eating my favorite foods (that the kids hate!) and just generally having a reclusive good time.

Just do whatever you enjoy, and know that you get a Christmas with the kids too, it's just not on the 25th this year.

It's really not bad at all!

coping = exercise, work and leisure in the correct amounts

Work hard, Exercise (at least 3 thirty minute walks a week), and take time to unplug and relax. Music, tv, video-games, reading, whatever is fun fo you.
