Hi, I have a question:
is there some kind of table or calculator, outlining how to calculate spousal and child support? (in case it matters, it pertains to legal separation). I have seen references to such things here and elsewhere, and I'm told they exist, but I am not sure where to find them. I apologize in advance if this is an obvious question. I tried googling but I didn't seem to come up with any straightforward results. Thank you |

Child support calculator
Public Legal Education and Information Organizations Across Canada If you share physical custody (50/50), then calculate for each income and subtract the different table amount - that is what the greater income earner pays the lessor. If only one parent takes care of the child, then just enter the noncustodial parents income, that is what they pay to the other. There is no spousal support calculator, SS is determined by the details of your situation. Some lawyers have software called DivorceMate that can do a calculation, but it may not fit your situation.
