I currently have shared custody of my two kids with my ex wife. Our agreement calls for us to split the kids expenses 50/50 based on the fact we earn the same income. Over the last 2 years my income has decreased significantly and I do not feel that the expenses should be a 50/50 split. The issue arises as I own my business and she thinks that I am make a lot more than I claim, which I do not at this time. Does anyone have any comments on how much I should be paying? I.e. lets say my income would be $100K and hers is $140K what percentage would a court assign?
Thanks |

If your income is 100K and hers is 140K, then you should pay around 41%. If you can't agree on income and how much you pay, then you'll have to go to court. Be prepared to disclose all your business financials to verify your income.
