Just wondering, does anyone know if there is any way that second or subsequent families have equal weight as first under the law, specifically child support?

Sadly, the only way for the children in a second relationship would have equal weight under the law as first children is to divorce your husband. Then your children would also recieve the same amount of CS that the first kids get.
The family law system is sadly lacking in acknowledging that the second children often grow up very financially disadvantaged due to the high amounts of CS and extra expenses that are ordered paid to their step-siblings mother (or custodial parent). |
