My ex wife collects CCTB for roughly 320$ per month.
We have shared custody, but I don't mind that she collects it, since I would get significantly less. However, would these be accounted for when calculating her net revenue? They would not show up on line 150. It doesn't seem fair that she's getting 4000$ per year and it's not taken into consideration. |

The CCTB is non taxable. HST/GST refund is non taxable too (won't go after that as it's not really material). I am getting mixed signals for the social assistance, some papers say that you simply use line 150 and make minor adjustments to it, while others do completly seperate sumation of income and cash influx. |

The CCTB is non-taxable and not taken into account as "income" for section 7 expenses or anywhere. My husbands ex gets the highest CCTB for 2 kids, which is around $700/month, tax free. If you add that to the $1000 CS tax free she gets in CS, plus the 3000 or so tax rebate (for claiming all credits for having kids) it 23,300 tax free FOR THE KIDS! And that is BEFORE she adds one red cent of her own.
