Financial Separation
Has anyone filed a financial separation with their spouse without filing a formal marriage separation? The couple in question are physically separated but don't have a legal agreement set in place. One spouse wants the financial separation to protect themselves from debt the other parties owes or can acquire before a formal marriage separation is filed.
What's involved in filing a financial separation and making it legal?

What to do
I tend have to believe that if a couple wanted to go that route they would have to enter into a legal separation agreement to make the severance binding. A separation agreement does not necessary have to deal with all the issues. lv
