I've moved into my son's (11) neigborhood now. 2 blocks from his school. I want to start spending real time with my son up to 50% so my son feels like he had a dad growing up. The first few yrs of the break up were hard on me and took some time to get back on my feet. e.g. I took all the financial debt over.
So I'm close by now. I see him every other weekend. He's old enough to come over to the house after school. What's the best approach to getting back to a 50/50 arrangement. the assumption is that my ex will not just turn around and say sure, awesome! thx H |

I would run it by the ex to begin with and if you cannot agree between the two of you, if you could seek mediation on the matter.
From there, if she won't agree to mediate or even entertain the notion, you would have to file a motion due a material change in circumstance (your move to the school district) and go through the motions there. |
