Status Quo?

OK, lets say your spouse is making two sources of income. One from a full time job and another from a part time job via your self employed business.

Now the business is expecting a revenue drop, and you must cut back on paying the spouse a salary as well as cut back your own salary to wether the finanacial storm.

How do the courts view this in light of the 'Status Quo' when determining child support and spousal support?

The courts base your income on your last three years income tax returns. As well as financial statements from your business.

If revenue drops from your business, that would be a Material Change in Circumstance, and the courts could lower child support payments.
