Hi all,
A new Support Deduction Order has been submitted after a final order at trial. The final order dictates that from December 1st, 2011, arrears are to be collected at a rate of $250 per month (on top of CS and new S7 expenses). FRO has collected about $1500 too much so far and said once the SDO is processed that "I would be creditted". Now, I wasn't speaking to my case worker (unavailable) and this person wasn't clear on exactly how I would be creditted. But has anyone seen FRO reduce or stop support payments because the payee was technically "overpaid". And if so, will my kids receive $0 until I am creditted? Thoughts? Thank you |

Chances are they will reduce your support by like $100-$150 a month until the credit is eliminated. I seriously doubt they will zero it out until it is paid as they would likely catch hell from the c/s recipients (who may rightly require a portion of that to survive).
