Default Need some advice on strategy.

Hi all,

the Justice is hearing my motion to impute income BY SUBMISSIONS ONLY. STBX's lawyer looks like she will miss the timeline to provide her responding affidavit, which is due today.

If she misses, I can either consent to an extension, or I can refuse on the grounds that she's blowing the whole timeline and we're soon headed to trial.

I don't see any strategic advantage to not allowing them to reply late. As a matter of fact I think I would look like a d*ck.

Thoughts ?

If she's not prepared and need more time, then give her the extra time if it doesn't prejudice you and degrade your case and evidence, and ask for your costs for that day.
