i was understanding that I have 10days to file my answer......our court date is less than a week away

So you served your husband with an application, and his lawyer served you with an answer? If that is the case, then yes, you have 10 days to respond to your husband's answer by serving and filing a reply.

Okay, I'm a bit confused!
Here is the breakdown:1. Applicant serves respondent with application 2. Respondent has 30 days to serve and file answer (or 60 days if respondent lives outside Canada and US) 3. Applicant has 10 days to serve and file a Reply to the respondent's answer. Lindsay |
