Default Mediation question

Can things brought up during mediation be used in trial or is it like settlement conferences which are not to be mentioned at trial? For example, if one party makes an offer and the other party is obviously not even there to negotiate can that be brought up later at trial?
Can mediation be factored into the costs awarded or would that only include court costs? For example, applicant gets awarded access time similar to what was proposed in mediation by respondent so costs of mediation AND court are ordered for applicant to pay?
No fights needed on my thread - just looking for an answer from those knowledgeable.
Thanks!

Hmm no. I can find out. So this is the determining factor as to whether it is admissible in court?

If it's closed then it is confidential (similar to a settlement conference).

Thanks. Found out it will be closed mediation unless we agree to have it be "open".
