Can anyone tell me if it is legal to tape a phone conversation without the knowledge of the other party? And if so can this be used in court?
I was alway under the impression that you had to inform the other party that you were recording the conversation. Any help with this would be great. Thanks

My lawyer told me that it's legal and admissable in court, so long as ONE of the participating parties is aware that it's being recorded; that party can be you. I'm assuming this is the law all across Canada, but if not, someone will chime in soon to let you know, I'm sure.
