Kids won! Honesty pays off!!

Today we won our case!

I'm overjoyed and relieved.

My kids' dad hadn't been paying or involved in their lives and the judge vindicated us today.

We get to move away to family who've been helping us and involved.

Dad tried to lie but the judge saw through it all.

My only advice is to keep honest, don't slag your ex through the mud and think of the kids. The judge saw that even with all the junk, I had truly been trying to facilitate a relationship, but the other side blew it singlehandedly.

Congratulations and very best wishes. Sometimes the system does work and today, for you and your kids, it DID! And let's never forget some of the unwavering support we get from friends/family. It's not possible to get through any of this without the kindness and generosity of a few incredible and caring people.

It's been two long years of no money from dad and confusion and tears for the kids as there had been lots of reasons for missed time with the kids.

Such a relief to have this nightmare over with.

In the end I'll never see the nearly $25,000 owed or costs for this, but at least we get to live with those who haven't broken my children's hearts or left it up to me to pay for them.
