I have been seperated for 1 1/2 years....no agreement yet...can you just file for divorce or do you have to do an agreement first? If so, what information does the lawyers need???

I went to the lawyers today about the very same ordeals. The lawyers says the divorce is just a piece of paper. He thinks I should solve the sep. aggreement now. So another offer is submitted and he has been given 10 days to reply. No answer or reply then to court and let them solve this. Games where ment for chi8ldren not grown adults. Mine should be very straight forward but procrastination on his part is costing money.
