Default filling in court forms

So I am completing a motion to change form and have a question. Probably a stupid one but anyway.....the court file number at the top....is that for a new court number or do I use the file number on the order that I am trying to change?

Talk to a court clerk... They will give you free advice instead of you paying a lawyer.

My experience is that you contine to use the original court order until settled.

All Motions to Change start a new file number. You do not use the old one. I know they call it a motion, but it's basically a new Application. File it with the court and leave the file number blank and the court will fill that part in for you.
