Default Is it ever going to end?

I'll try and keep this as simple as possible.
I've been separated from my ex for over two years now. The application for divorce, child support, custody, personal property (no house or pension involved) was first initiated in June of 2008.
Here's what's been resolved by the courts so far. On November 14 of 2008 a temporary order was completed with access to be given to my ex every second weekend. The return of my personal property was listed by item to be delivered to me by my ex. Child support was issued at a certain amount on a temp basis. He did not have a lawyer (although he did previously) and has not disclosed his finances in any way. He was given until the next court date to provide financial disclosure and to secure a new lawyer.
The next court date was set for Jan 6, 2009. He failed to show to court. The judge set a higher child support amount and awarded me costs for that session. It was all to go through the FRO. My ex had 30 days to dispute this order and to bring it back to court. He never did.
I received a letter from my lawyer on Jan 19, 2009 saying that the temp order would be issued as a permanent one if no response from my ex in 30 days and that I would receive a copy when it was finalized.
It's now March 20, 2009. I have not received child support yet. The FRO is trying and I'm in contact with them often. I have had no word on my divorce being finalized (it iwas applied to be separate from the rest of the issues). Is this because he hasn't paid support yet? I've been waiting to remarry and the wait is torturous. I want to move on with my life. Any insight would be appreciated.

I can't comment on the divorce issue, but it took my case over four months between court order and the FRO opening my case. They allow up to 35 days to begin payment and then will only act after non-payment of 3 months. Could be awhile, unfortunately.
