Best way to document late shows?

I've been documenting late shows by the other parent for drop off's (over 30 minutes) but am wondering does it help to send a quick text to document you're there and waiting? Is it necessary ? The other parent has indicated she will be keeping the child for extra half hour to feed accusing me bringing child back hungry .. We have sent letter documenting that we are not in agreement to the reduction and that we are denying her claims and that I will be there as usual time.

Who is we? You said "we" have been sending letters.

I would send an email every time.

Wait until after your time with the child is over and then send something like this:

Ex

This email confirms that you dropped of Child'sfirstname at 4:32 pm on May 16/17. This is 32 minutes late as per our agreed time and you have reduced my parenting time by the same.

I trust that in the future this will not be a reoccurring problem and you will arrive promptly at 4:00 pm.

Thank you.

Wonderful Me.

This gives you a written record and seems to work for issues with my ex.

Your ex sounds as though she knows how to yank your chain.

You could email and say as you were 23 mins late I will take those 23 mins at the end of my access time

Or you could just be 23 mins late and declare child was eating a hearty meal so he would not be hungry upon returning to ex!

And not put anything down on record as it might just be fuel for ex to declare you cannot co parent.
