Dont think this actually qualifies as mischief. If she damaged your personal computer that was left at the family home, for the purpose of screwing you over come tax back time-that would qualify as mischief. Her being a loon and NOT actually endangering your life in any way through her actions takes mischief out of the equation(in my opinion)

Sometimes people have to cool their heels and reflect on the bigger picture and outcome of their actions.

Is it wise to throw fuel on a fire and enrage someone by having a peace bond served?

The advice given by posters in other threads is probably valuable - radio silence.

you may be right though It may or it may not be mischief depending the allegations against him being reliable or outright false, making a false allegation to a police officer will be classified as mischief, though if its a woman doing it the charge is seldom laid.

Default false allegations

I was wondering if anyone has any strong referrals for Family Lawyers in the GTA? My cousin has an ex who has filed false allegations against him. Its a very complicated story but ever since this happened there has been many things come to light. Eg - she did the same with her ex husband, she has a profile on an online dating site that he didnt know about.

All he sincerely cares about is his daughters, they are both under the age of 5. He want to clear my name and get full custody. Im hoping someone in this forum can help him because he wants a pit bull.

I hope he realizes this is completely irrelevant, especially in regards to custody.

Agree w/Blink. Furthermore, pit bull or no pit bull: the chances of him getting sole custody are slim to none. The "pit bull" image of a lawyer is reserved mostly for the movies and made for tv drama.

You need a reality check. Your "cousin" should find competent, family law legal advice and work on a parenting plan for joint/shared custody.

yes i know its irrelevant to custody and parenting issues but it is relevant to the fact that their marriage fell apart unbeknownst to him. if anything, it gives motive as to why shes acting this way

either way does anyone have any referrals of good lawyers in the GTA?
