Unhappy Trial costs

Hi all

Quick question that I couldn't find an answer for in a search. Costs were awarded to the Ex, does the FRO handle that???

FRO Facts | Ministry of Community and Social Services

I just found that page quickly re: FRO responsibilities - looks like it depends on what the costs were for and how the order is worded.

Cost for the lawyer you mean, I have seen that on an affidavit but we worded ours the same as the motion was a repeat of many. So the judge say we will bear our own cost. The FRO only take care of support payment I believe, but again it is hard to know what they do as they never respond to any registered letter.

No, not deductible unless you obtained or enforced an order for support. So a portion of her out of pocket legal fees will be deductible for her.
