Well, my ex is now suing me for 70 000 dollars with a statement of claim that has zero in the way of facts and most of which are easily refuted by simple things like bank statements, more witnesses that I can list, and some common sense.
Considering the hell that she has put me through past year how the hell does this happen? Has anyone else been run through this kind of baseless ringer? |

It's all about perception. Accept their position -- Don't underestimate. YOU can do this! Now refute with your own facts and evidence. Educate yourself on the process. Avoid the mudsling.

Oh, I sent a 4 page rebuttal to assist with the countersuit for starters. A lot of the claim is misinformation that my counsel already knows what the facts are and where blatant lies are.
I still can't believe that a lawyer would present something like this to a Judge for signature considering the depth of the pure dishonesty.... |

Great now assess the outstanding claim and weigh that against costs of representation of both sides with consideration to variables such as Legal Aid, Self Representation and or Offer to Settle.
Watch for the Sharks in unchartered waters. |

oh, I cant settle.... She has put me thru hell in the last year. Cost me almost every dime I had, my self respect, my dignity, and more humiliation than I can type right now.
I tried to deal with it all last year informally but the more time has gone on the more she has become greedy and vindictive.... |
