Hello all. My common law wife walked out on me for the second time ( regrets!!!)after purchasing A home together only 10 months prior. I made ALL the mortgage, tax, insurance payments, but lost my job 2 weeks before she walked out. She made mortgage payments for 4 months, and now is playing games. She says one day she will sign off on the house, then changes her mind the next. I have also put about 10k in improvements into it. This is making me nuts. I'm collecting EI and can't afford A lawyer (legal aid says I make too much?)...HELP!

Your best bet is sell, pay of any debts you both have, and divide the rest!..From going through this a few years ago,and thinking I was in the right,I soon found out I was in wrong..The judge awarded her pretty much everything.

So freeloaders just keep getting everything for free? I am disabled...only worked A few years and paid all the bills.
I am also just realizing now how she has abused me for many years. Feeling pretty beat up and embarrassed letting someone do this to me.

The house has $0 equity...and if it's not going to sell in this market!

Thanks for the help! Glad to see that I can talk with somebody.

After surviving A brain aneurysm & living with A fused spine...I Don't know the meaning of give up...so i'm suing for support and hope the judge will award the house to my dad. Freeloading off A disabled person is kinda despicable.
