i was in a relationship with a gentleman for 19 months and in this time he paid no bills or bought nothing for my rented duplex i shared with my mom...a month ago i purchased a mini home and he moved into it with a lease agreement signed stating he was renting a room for $ per month he was only here for one month and again failed to pay a cent so i got him to leave ...now he is saying he is going for half of all i have since we have lived together for a period of time ..does he have any rights to my assets when he has not contributed anything

I think in your situation you have nothing to worry about, especially if he moved out and his name is not on deed.
If he wants to go for half of everything, more than welcome the law is working differently if it concern assets in common law. If he will file a claim he would need to prove his contributions into the house you’ve bought. If he hasn’t contributed anything, you have nothing to worry about, just keep all the records what you paid. I would just wait and see what he’s going to do, but not much I think..
If he still continues bothering you, put a restraining order on looser maybe he will learn after that.
I have similar situation but we have a join property what make it more complicated.
