It seems everyone agrees that judges such as Justice Perkins are lazy in not reading materials and not only utterly reckless in making judgments without the facts but also completely callous in ignoring the devastating impacts their rulings have upon families.
Yet at the same time justices such as Craig Perkins have a burning need to impose their lazy understanding of issues through inflammatory court orders, they also focus more on the personal slight they feel upon being overturned than they do on being happy for the family concerned because a higher court got it right.
How can these same judges be the only voices that are being heard in family court reform? They preside over a system that they were instrumental in breaking. Asking them for their advice on how to fix it is a little like asking Hitler for his advice on how to fix human rights abuses in his government.
