On the contrary, you appear to have missed my point altogether.
It is you who made some very stereotypical comments above and I responded in kind with likeminded outrageously stereotypical responses in an attempt to highlight how similarly offensive yours were. And in case you missed it, I explictly said that my comments were as such.
Evidently all that accomplished was to fan the flames, just as I said they would. And what happened then? It got real personal didn't it? Didn't contribute anything to the discussion did it? You walked right into that one didn't you?
And BTW, I have sole custody of my children, and have to deal with the same types of problems you do.
Pursuant to our final court order, my four years of SS ended last month. I abided by the law and willingly made every payment on time and in full. Last week, my ex was supposed to start paying me CS. You know what? After paying her $40,000 in support and $40,000 for a house she didn't put a penny into and that I paid for completely, she told me "she can't afford to pay". Now she's suddenly telling me that she's been laid off work. Instead of abiding by the order that so handsomely paid her for four years, she didn't pay. I now will likely be forced to register with the FRO and go back to court to get the amount adjusted, pursuant to the court order.
People screw other people around, not men or women, fathers or mothers.
Finally, I love my living arrangements with my kids just the way they are. I don't pine for Mom's "easy job". I don't blame women for any of my problems. My problems are my problems. I take full ownership of them.
