One of the happiest tasks of the family law practitioner is to petition for the adoption of a child. Compton and Duling can also assist when the difficult step of divorce must be taken. We represent clients in both Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Courts and Circuit Courts in obtaining custody and support orders, restraining orders if necessary, and with enforcing those orders. The firm can negotiate and draft a property settlement agreement. If settlement is not possible we advocate for our clients at an equitable distribution hearing in order to divide the marital assets.
