Description: The Family Law group of the firm of Jones, Blechman, Woltz and Kelly has been assisting clients involved in family law matters for over 70 years. The law firm has developed the reputation as the preeminent law firm in Southeastern Virginia in family law matters. In the family law area, our Family Law group engages in representation of parties in divorce, child custody and visitation, spousal and child support, equitable distribution of marital assets, separation agreements, prenuptial agreements and adoption. We have also developed a specialization in Military Divorce, custody and support matters through our Military Law Group. The family law attorneys and support staff engaging in this work have developed a special expertise and frequently lecture at continuing legal education seminars for other attorneys and paralegal groups. Several of our attorneys have been appointed to serve as judges due to their skill and reputation in the legal community.
