Description: Robert G. Randall, Jr. has practiced in the area of matrimonial law since 1975. He has been a law guardian, mediator and matrimonial fee dispute arbitration. He is a member of the Family Law Sections of both the New York State Bar Association and the Florida Bar. We, at the Randall Law Firm, are aware that the issues involved in Matrimonial matters are sensitive and generally have numerous permutations, especially if children are involved. Typical children issues involve custody (joint or sole), visitation, negotiating schedules, arranging who provides transportation and relocation issues and child support. The parties must be apprised of the provisions of the New York Child Support Standards Act. We provide each client with a copy of the Act, explain the calculations and review the additional items that may be applicable, such as the costs of daycare, education and medical insurance. If the parties cannot resolve these issues themselves or through mediation or negotiation either the Family Court or Supreme Court has jurisdiction to resolve the issues.
