Description: Because we are committed to the development of the lawyer's role as counselor, we propose the establishment of an area of law practice that focuses on this role. Because we believe that a collaborative approach is not inconsistent with advocacy for a client, we will seek to explore all ethical and practical considerations that would make a collaborative approach possible. Because we believe that the client should have the option of dispute resolution centered upon negotiation free of the threat of trial, we propose the development of a contractual arrangement that makes this possible.
