Description: Over fifteen years ago I was admitted to the California Bar, and knew early in my career I would not be happy as a member of a large law firm. While a six-figure salary with benefits was a tempting package, I was unwilling to sacrifice my independence, or to limit my law practice to one or two specialties, requiring only the pushing of computer keys, and little or no critical thinking. The choice to remain a sole-proprietor of a small, general law practice boutique that practices divorce and family law has presented a variety of challenges, which has at times been very rewarding as well as problematic. My overall goal was to provide affordable solutions to the high cost of litigation, by allowing the client to become an integral part of the process. You will soon see that my practice is a bit unorthodox.
